This course is composed of: 20 Lessons per week; 1 lesson: 50 minutes; Hours per week: 16 hours 40 minutes; 15 students max. per class; Age 16+. During the lessons you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. In a further 2 lessons you concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, writing. You use a text book and a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers and magazines. The Study Year Programme offers a comprehensive and flexible English language programme to help you prepare for your future and gain internationally recognised exam qualifications. It is designed specifically for long-term students who will study English in England for 6 months or more. This programme allows you to follow a wide range of ELC Eastbourne courses, including General English, Cambridge English exams (FCE & CAE), IELTS and Introduction to Business English.

With this BWS Germanlingua german course, you can have a special focus on German pronunciation. A significant factor for higher-level students who still retain their native accent in German or for job purposes, where exact pronunciation is essential.

Studying a General English language course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. The lessons cover the most important aspects of learning English, including grammar and pronunciation, which will help you improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. By the end of the course students should be able to communicate in English more confidently in different situations outside the classroom. The timetable below is a sample. General English Language Courses at Lexis English offer students the flexibility of combining their English language education with a large range of options classes – personalising each student’s course to suit their academic needs. For students wanting to brush up their English skills for travelling, employment or to work towards a placement in one of our academic programs or Certificate or Diploma courses, our General English course is designed to get results. General English Part-Time is CRICOS registered and consists of a minimum of 15 hours per week.

This is a general English course for students aged 16 years and over. No English language level is required. This course is taught in small classes, and uses textbooks and class communication to support students as they learn English. Students are also given the opportunity to use the skills they have learned in class, with topic-based learning, weekly vocabulary and speaking assessments.

This is a course for you who have finished the Swedish C1 Part 1 Level. In this course, you will further develop and train your Swedish at an advanced level. You will nuance your language, expand your vocabulary and find new ways to reformulate your message, argue, and discuss.

Our Intensive Russian Program meets the goals of each student across all levels of language proficiency from beginner to advanced speaker.The mode of lessons is interactive that provides every student an individualized attention, cooperation with each other, and optimization of learning process.

This General English language course is made up of 30 lessons (22.5 hours) per week including the General English classes. It also allows you to personalise your course by taking 10 lessons per week across a wide selection of Special Focus options.

The General English Courses are designed for learners of all levels and have an emphasis on speaking, communication and a high level of learner participation. The goal is to improve your accuracy and fluency as you move up the levels from beginner to advanced plus. These courses will give you the skills you need to communicate effectively in English, and will provide a strong foundation of grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and spoken English.
