This programme is for students who study for 24 weeks or more.

Our Semi-Intensive English course is a semi-intensive programme that allows you to balance classroom tuition with structured study and free time activities. You will improve your English language ability at a speed you feel comfortable with, while having time to enjoy your destination. This course is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced and you will be placed in a class which is suitable for your level. The course focuses on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking. You’ll also learn vocabulary and grammar, and how to speak in formal and informal discussions and strategies.

The General English Course at ELC Eastbourne is designed to give you the confidence to communicate effectively in real-life situations. The course provides effective English language training for people who need English for work, further study,travel/tourism or for your own pleasure. In addition, it can help provide preparation for a number of exams including IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, KET and PET. There is a balanced programme, focusing on the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing, whilst covering essential grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, idioms and colloquial language.

The Intensive English Language Course consists of 15 weekly lessons focused solely on general English. These are lessons focused on developing reading, writing, oral and listening comprehension and conversation. You will have three hours a day of class, each lesson is 60 minutes, with the estimated timetable being from 9:00 to 12:25, Monday to Friday.

With this Intensive English Language Course from OHC Dublin, you will join multi-national language classes following a syllabus closely mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, covering key language domains, skills, and competencies appropriate to your level of ability. The objectives for this English Language course are intended to enhance the all-round language and communication skills of those who wish to work or study more effectively in an international context. Participants will also have the opportunity to establish relationships and share points of view with international colleagues.

Our ‘English in Action’ surfing program allows you to combine part-time General English Language with surfing lessons from the best local instructors. Even if you have never surfed before, you’ll be catching a wave by the end of your first lesson and within a few weeks you’ll be surfing with the locals, your classmates and maybe even one or two of your teachers. The ‘English in Action – Surfing’ course includes: • Part-time General English • Pick up and drop off transfers between school and the beach • All equipment • Two- hour surfing lesson, four afternoons per week Just bring your own towel, swimmers, sunscreen and your get-up-and-go energy!

Lexis 360° is our student care program designed to ensure that all Lexis students receive individual support and attention, initiating the most successful study experience possible. General English Full-Time is CRICOS registered and consists of a minimum of 20 hours per week with an additional 5 hours per week of Guided Individual Learning (GIL).

The 25+ Course is designed to make the best use of a short period of study. We aim to improve students' confidence and accuracy when they speak English. The course includes: English language work with a focus on Spoken English and conversation skills. Lessons are designed to develop confidence in using English in both social and professional situations. An adult environment in a building dedicated to our mature students over the age of 25. Social events and excursion possibilities to help students make the most of their short stay in Chester. Students will complete a questionnaire prior to their course and our staff will design the course programme to reflect their needs. With our small classes, learning is highly effective and personalised.

This course gives you the opportunity of living and learning more about the culture and social life of both England and Ireland. Our special long term rates are only available to CES agents. Bookings must be a minimum of 24 weeks to avail of these rates. Students have the opportunity to really further their English language, by learning over a greater length of time. If long term students have the appropriate level, they are welcome to move to our IELTS/Cambridge Examination Preparation Courses or General English with Business English! You can divide your stay as you wish and you can start your course in either England or Ireland - we leave the choice to you. We do recommend that all students who require a visa start their Multi-Destination course in the UK.
