A Business English Course will help you understand the world of business and get the language skills needed in a globalized market. You will explore different aspects of business communication and understand key areas of modern business practices.

This is a great option for students who want to develop English skills for employment and practical business situations.Topics include negotiating, networking, managing meetings, interviewing, and socializing in a business environment. Students learn how to write effective business memos, letters, e-mails, informal and formal reports and presentation materials.Students also gain the ability to give effective presentations and develop the skills necessary to pass the Cambridge Business English Examination (BEC), which is internationally recognized and tests the skills for using English in the workplace.ILAC accepts students every Monday, however, students are strongly encouraged to begin on Main Start Dates. Examinations at the B1, B2, and C1 language levels take place at all four course locations at the end of each month. In addition, we offer up to six examination dates yearly at the A1 and A2 language levels and two at the C2 language level. Test takers can prepare themselves with test preparation courses specifically designed to familiarize the test takers with the format of the examinations. The focus of these courses is not so much the process of learning the language as it is becoming familiar with the content and conceptual design of the test. Although it is possible to book an individual preparation course, it is recommended that such a course be taken in combination with a Standard Course or an Intensive Course. Telc-exams: Please verify with the school the availability and need to fill in a specific form for test enrollment.

Full-time CELTA course (4 weeks) Monday to Friday 9am - 5pmThis is a fully-accredited 4-week intensive online course which prepares candidates to teach in botha regular classroom as well as in an online one. The course takes places fromMonday to Friday (9am to 5pm (GMT).Two sessions are delivered every morning by our tutors in an interactive and practical manner through the Zoom platform. These sessions are designed to help candidates acquire and put into practice the knowledge and techniques which are needed when teaching in a regular classroom environment as well as in an online classroom.Every morning also has preparation time when our tutors give guidance on how to prepare and plan for Teaching Practice. Like a regular face-to-face CELTA, candidates must complete 6 hours of Teaching Practice with lessons lasting from 40 to 60 minutes. This is done every afternoon of the course when candidates teach students from around the world through the Zoom platform. These lessons last from 2pm to 4pm when candidates either teach or observe their peers. Class feedback is done afterwards.Similar to the part-time course, there are 4 assignments and 6 hours of observation which need to be completed. No previous experience is needed in using the Zoom platform as training will be given prior to the commencement of the course. Attendance is 100% necessary for all morning input sessions and afternoon Teaching Practices.

Your classes may be at different times from those in the sample timetable. However, all classes are between 8:30 am and 3:50 pm. All students receive an individual timetable on their first day at school. The 13-hour course consists of 10 60-minute hours in class and 3 60-minute hours of teacher-supervised independent learning.
